Online bodybuilding coaching includes individualized training, nutrition, cardio, weekly progress reviews, and direct communication without requiring in-person sessions. After reviewing your application and intake, I build your plan around your goals, experience, schedule, equipment, limitations, and starting point.

Each week, I review your weight trend, photos, performance, adherence, recovery, sleep, and digestion. Adjustments are made when the full picture gives us a reason to make one.

Most bodybuilding contest preps take between 16 and 24 weeks, but the timeline depends on the athlete. Starting condition, muscle base, division, dieting history, schedule, posing, and rate of progress all matter.

First-time competitors and athletes I have never coached may need more runway. I will not force an athlete into a rushed prep simply because a show has already been selected.

Yes. I coach natural and enhanced athletes through improvement seasons and contest preparation.

The foundation remains individualized training, nutrition, recovery, progress analysis, and decisions based on the athlete's response. Enhanced bodybuilding changes the variables that require attention, particularly recovery and health monitoring. Medical concerns outside the scope of coaching should be handled by an appropriate licensed professional.

I coach athletes across the major physique divisions, including Men's Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Men's Physique, Women's Bodybuilding, Women's Physique, Figure, Wellness, Bikini, and Fit Model.

Each division requires a different balance of muscularity, structure, conditioning, and presentation. If you are unsure where you fit, I will assess your current physique before recommending a direction.

Peak week is the final week before a bodybuilding competition. Its purpose is to present the physique built throughout prep as effectively as possible.

I monitor photos, bodyweight, digestion, fullness, conditioning, and fatigue before adjusting food, fluids, sodium, training, or cardio. There is no universal peak week plan, and it cannot replace condition that was never achieved during prep.

The coaching process continues after the athlete leaves the stage. Food, cardio, training, bodyweight, hunger, digestion, sleep, and recovery all need to be managed through the transition.

Some athletes benefit from a traditional reverse diet, while others need a different recovery approach. The goal is to restore stability, regain performance, manage bodyweight responsibly, and transition into the next phase with structure.

Both services include individualized training, nutrition, cardio, weekly progress reviews, ongoing adjustments, and direct communication.

Lifestyle Coaching focuses on fat loss, muscle growth, performance, and physique development within the client's life. Competitive Coaching applies that foundation to a division standard and contest timeline. It also includes stage readiness assessment, show selection, contest preparation, posing oversight, peak week, execution on show day, and the transition after competition.

Yes. Team DET is based in Metro Detroit, Michigan, and I coach athletes throughout Michigan and across the United States.

Training, nutrition, progress tracking, weekly reviews, and communication are handled online. You do not need to live in Michigan or train at a specific gym to work with Team DET.

Being ready to compete involves more than selecting a show and being willing to diet.

I evaluate your current physique, muscle base, division fit, starting condition, consistency, posing experience, health baseline, schedule, and whether your life has room for contest preparation. If you are not ready, I will tell you what needs to be developed before prep begins.

An improvement season is a structured phase focused on building the physique needed for your next competitive goal.

We assess your current package, competition feedback, division standard, and areas needing development. Training, nutrition, cardio, recovery, and bodyweight progression are then managed around those priorities. The next prep begins when the physique and the athlete are ready for it.
